Registration opens up in February, Our company is pushing ipads and iphones, I hope I can still come up with business justification to go this year (y)

I am not even going to try.

The only way I *might* be allowed to go is if we deploy BB Mobile Fusion.... since then the conference won't be single OS-centric.

I can definitely see our company focus on BB Mobile Fusion, they are looking at other MDM's like mobile iron so I hope they can get BB Mobile Fusion out fast enough..

I may still be able to go if they are promoting Fusion heavily. We're gonna start rolling iPads and iPhones very soon. I expect our BlackBerry population to take a hit.

Item to note / observation about BBW 2012:

In the sponsor prospectus on page 16 of the a la carte options, the first advertising opportunity states: "Capture leads and create networking opportunities while attendees quench their thirst by sponsoring the BlackBerry World Beer Garden. Your company receives the scanned information from every attendee who stops by." BlackBerry World Beer Garden?! Really? LOL

Now how would you read that? Is it read as Blackberry World Beer Garden where the focus is on BlackBerry World and it happens to be a Beer Garden? Or is it read as BlackBerry World Beer Garden, where due to the number of international visitors, there is an abundance of World Beers flavors in attendance?

Just a thought.

Got my verbal approval; now submitting the paperwork. Once it gets signed, I can make flight reservations and then BBW/Hotel reservations.

I'm really counting on Fusion to be the highlight of the Conference this year. Anything less will be a huge disappointment.

There's no way in hades I'll be allowed to go since we were just told today that we have to add iPhones as standard devices. Going to a device-specific conference is now out of the picture.

I think of it this way... our company has 5000+ blackberry's deployed and about 12 iphones, heh

No BlackBerry World (WES) for me this year.

Management wants to find a conference that is not just all about BlackBerry since we're now moving toward an iPhone & Android environment utilizing Good for Enterprise.

Anyone know of any good non-OScentric mobile device conferences this year?

Not bad. T'was even at the times I wanted. You can prolly get similar on Southwest.

With the announcement of Fusion, this years BlackBerry World will (hopefully) focus on cross platform device management. Don't dismiss BBW yet until more details are released.
