Today theme

Is there any (unlocked) Today-style theme with the same look-and-feel of the Verizon theme (fonts, icons,...) for the 8300 ?

Same no,close yes the TMO 6 icon theme.

If I understood what I read correctly in another thread, all vendor themes are contained in the OS. They are simply not loaded to your device because of your service provider's ID which is located in the Vendor file. This can be altered, thus giving you access to all vendor themes. If you do a search you will find this info and instructions on how to do it.

Post #8 I just clicked the link from my desktop and the download initiated. It is an OTA link.

Hope that helps.

5 Attachment(s)
Here is the today plus theme published by RIM, this is for devices with screens measuring 320x240 (Curve). This is what the theme looks like on my 8320 Curve with Wifi Enabled

Due to attachment size limitations, change the extension of the file net_rim_theme_bbdimension_today_plus_320x240_b.doc to cod
and change the extension for BB RIM Today Plus.doc to alx

Run you device manager to install the theme.

Ok, a REALLY stupid question - why can't I download these attachments? I tried both clicking directly on the links and "right click - save as", nothing works
