First BB: Can I selectively sync my outlook contacts?
 

I just got the BB Storm and so far love it. I'm just setting up my syncing options for Outlook 2007, however I want to know how I might go about selectively choosing which contacts I want to sync.

I have just one PST file for all my outlook information. I want to sync my full calendar, notes, to-do, etc. list, but I don't want to do my whole contact list. Reason being, I have 500+ contacts in my outlook contacts list which are all email addresses. I only have about 150 numbers that I actually want in my phone (with pictures, phone numbers, birthdays, etc.). I was hoping I could just make a new "group" of contacts within my outlook and just sync that. Is this possible? If not, does anyone have any suggestions?

You can't it will only sync all of them.

Create and save your selected contacts in a new folder and name it Blackberry you can sink selected contacts then.

Another solution might be to categorize your contacts. That way you view only the contacts you want to see.

That's actually not accurate. I created a new folder in contacts called "Blackberry" and sync only that folder of my contacts. In the advanced settings on DM sync, you can select what you want synced.
