Capacity Indicators

When BB is connected to computer/BB Link, a horizontal bar appears showing capacity remaining in BB. There are three colours on the bar - blue, pink, and red. What do they represent?

Re: Capacity Indicators

It would be nice if Blackberry had a web site that detailed the App. I looked at every possible line item in the manual and not one word on the capacity colors.
I would think the blue to red is an indication of the growing storage limit from beginning to end with Red being the full point.
Maybe:-(

Re: Capacity Indicators

That sounds logical, except that from left to right mine are blue, red, yellow, and my total used space is 64 MB and 135 KB. However, I just looked closely at the indicators and if you really strain your eyes you will see notes beside the blue indicator (indicating music); a flower beside the pink indicator (indicating pictures); and a document beside the yellow indicator (indicating documents). I guess that's why they haven't explained in the manual.

Ok I remember a while back the colors did represent the various types. The line simply shows the amount of each compared to the others. The line will move to what is represented as full capacity. this will allow you to decide which items in which section need to be reduced.
It would be nice if BB explained that on their web site.

If I understand what you are asking about, there is a key below the capacity bar, right? One is documents, the other images, and then videos.

That's what I also think it shows.
