Ascendo DataVault now available for BB10
 

I know there were a lot of folks here who used DataVault - it was just released in BB World yesterday for BB10. Native app, not an Android port.

I cannot transfer the data from my Ascendo Desktop to Z10. I have tried over wifi. Please help

You tried over USB too? Have you checked with the developer?

Yes I have tried with the USB, but when I press sync now on Z10 nothing happens

That is the problem i had. Ascendo never returned my emails so i deleted the app and requested a refund.
Ido not think it is a native bb10 app

I honestly think they are gingdown the crapper. I have had them for years. Last year I started having issues with them and they never returned any of my emails. Not skin off my back there are plenty of people to take my money.

The other day I came across an article saying Ascendo was caught lowering the security of users accounts by changing the hashed passwords to 14 bytes or something like that. I didn't understand it completely but it wasn't good enough. I don't think I'll be using the app.

Honestly, i haven't found an app like ewallet by iliumsoft. It works perfectly, good security and easy sincyng.
I do not understand why they are giving up on us and do not develop something for the bb10

From what I have heard (End of April) they were trying to bring a version to BB10. I haven't heard anything else.

Yes, someone from iliumsoft posted in crackberry asking for problems found when one of the group sideloaded the android version.
We are waiting for him to check the problems found.

Does data vault have an XML import capability? I bought Vault for BB10 and it plain sucks...and need a sub for Password Keeper...and wonder if I can import my Vault entries (XML format).
