Dead Spot on Central Portion Of LCD Screen

I have an old 9530 and the central column of my screen is non responsive or digitizer is not working. Do you think reseating the LCD will fix the problem from anyones experience?

Sounds like you need to replace the screen.

you could try cleaning & reseating the lcd & the touch button & if it doesn't help then it may need to be replaced
