'Third Party Applications'

I have received Blackberry Curve 8310 through work, and I have a work SIM card.
I try & download JiveTalk but when ever I click the link to download I get the following message;
"The IT Policy does not allow downloading third-party applications".
Is there a way around this?
Thank you!!

There is not. Your company has issued you this device and is restricting your downloading third party apps. Even if you found a way, it could be a firing offense.

If you want these apps, you need to buy your own phone and respect your company's wishes and follow their rules.

See how far this friendship goes!
