Need to recover text messages
 

Hey guys,
i have a blackberry bold and i wanted to upgrade the BBM so i plugged it in and it did all these updates, one thing it did was update the sms system so now its more of an instant message type thing.

I had an sms from someone what was very important and i need to recover it.
is there any way i can get it back?
when i updated it, it only really kept sms from the previous week, everything before that seems to have disappeared.


any help would be AMAZING

WHen i plug my phone in and go to backup and restore, and i click open i can find a backup called 'loaderbackup-(2010-05-08).ipd if i go down to sms the file size is larger then the sms file size on the phone, so i figure this means theres alot of messages stored there....

so what do i do now, i dont want to screw it up, i just want to take those messages and put them on my phone. let me know!

Use the Advanced function in the Backup/Restore to just restore that database from the LoaderBackup.ipd if that what you want.
