Re: Password forgotten! Help am new

If you can't remember the password correctly and you enter it incorrectly 10 times, the device will be wiped of all its data.

Then you will be able to start over. Hopefully, you have a backup of your data.

Please do not write in text speak. Makes your posts too hard to read and understand, especially by our non-native English speakers.

Also, please update your profile with the model number of the new device and your cell carrier since I am reasonably certain your carrier isn't "BIS".

Pulling the battery may reset your password attempts to 0 of 10 ... I have not been in this position, but can't hurt to try it.

No it won't.
It won't do anything.
