UK Vodafone 8520 Curve email access
 

Hi all,

I have inherited my works 8520 through an upgrade. It was a a business phone on BES on o2 UK.

I have unlocked it and want to use it as a private phone on Vodafone UK. I have put a normal contract SIM into it and want to configure it to receive Yahoo.co.uk email.

Basically it won't let me. It hasn't a webmail icon. When I try to load the yahoo email, it tells me that it's intergrating the email and needs me to register, go to the host routing table and other nonsense!. The phone works fine with speech and text.

Please can someone give me exact instructions as to how I do it if it is indeed possible?

You need a blackberry data plan with vodafone.
