9800s switch off and reboot after change of carrier

Hi

Both my BB Torch 9800s keep switching off and rebooting since I changed carriers. I changed from Vodafone Es to Movistar (was Telefonica). I have spoken to Movistar support and they cannot offer any suggestions. Can anyone else?

Both 9800s were unlocked officially by Vodafone.

What type of SIM card did Movistar give you?

Hmm. Good question. I will have to ask them this week. I used to have a 64K card with Vodafone Es. Would a 128K SIM card cause this behaviour?

Possibly. I would just make sure that Movistar didn't give you one of their cards for LTE.

The SIM card from Movistar is definitely 128KB. I doubt that it is LTE as Spain is well behind the crowd on 4G.

It very easily could cause that behaviour. I would see if you can get a 64k.
