How to delete software

Is there a way to delete a game off of the 8703e Sprint BB device without having to do a hard reset and wiping the whole handset? I have got my device setup just how I want it and I don't want to go through the hassle of having to go back and re do everything over again.

Options-->Advanced Options--->Applications---Find Game--->Delete
