BlackBerry Ltd said on Monday it has created a new unit to house what many consider to be among its most promising assets - cryptographic applications, its QNX embedded software and Project Ion platform for connecting devices.

Useless if it does not continue to support handhelds and develop new models. all they are doing is looking to sell the patents or a few software items. Too many company's are jumping into the same area of technology and just like others in the business unless they keep up t's over in a couple of years or less.
It's like the ATT and Verizon move to drop all but mobility business. Big mistake. |
