move cursor around when typing?

i read the manual, but no where does it tell me how to navigate the cursor around. i have a blackberry 7100g. the only way i can navigate the cursor is use the trackwheel. but it can only go to the beginning of the word or the end of it. but i want to go in between word. for example, i misspell the word londan. i want to the cursor to be after the letter a so i can press the delete key to delete it.

anyone know? it would make my life easier instead of deleting the whole word.

Track wheel alone noves up and down, Alt + TW moves left and Right.

Hope this helps.

This is the alt key (:alt:) and tw means track wheel, and you do need to read through your manual.

well i dont see a key that look like (:alt:), but there is a key on my phone that i can use for alt. it is a key that has the following ymbols on it: #, up arrow, aA. i assume that is the alt key on my blackberry right? everytime i press that and a letter, it capitalize it. so i push that and the trackwheel and still no luck. what now?

the "alt" button or whatever you wanna call it is the bottom left key with an arrow going up and one going down. if you want to scroll between the letters you just push that key and roll the trackwheel.

taravangenderen: yup...that work...i have another key that has up and down arrow...but i would use that key if i want to enter in a number.

thanks.
