Discrepancy Between # of "Installed Apps" and Visible Icons

Has anyone else noticed this? Inside the main options, it says that I have 137 installed apps, but (even including built-in apps), I only have about 100. Hidden features waiting to be awakened?

I'm surprised it has that many hidden apps.
