It will work sideloading on an Android device though ymmv (Your Mileage May Vary)

You also will need a valid BBID (registered to their Beta Zone Program) to install and setup this app. If you do not have one, then it will not work.

No it will not. The file is available for download still.

New users who want to download and install this are out of luck. Existing users who either got an invite to the beta trial or just got lucky can continue to use this. Creating a new account with a valid BBID has been blocked since the 18th.

I wouldn't worry too much about it Knotty, BlackBerry isn't.

A leaked version of BBM for Android is reportedly what caused the big problem that screwed up the official release last weekend. If people would just use some patience maybe we would get the real thing sooner ffs

I am deleting this version of the Android BBM apk for a newer version that will work on WiFi.

The file in the OP will not be available after today.
