Is this particular OS pre-made?
 

When the first time I got my Blackberry Bold 9700, I was used to the keyboard and everything.. but since I lost it and I just got a new phone from my insurance company...and the keyboard seems very weird...like the space bar (as it is a rectangle shape) and when I want to use the space bar I have to press in the middle of the bar..and not on the side...or is that how it is? or is this keyboard messed up?

2) It offered me a Online Mobile Backup which when I first got my blackberry 9700...and it had a separate icon for SMS/MMS when I never got either... now is this a old OS version? or new?

what I have currently is: 5.0.0.714

Now if its old how do I get the old one which I usually got but, and if this is the new one and my mind is just playing with me...what is the new one? is their a screen shot on how it looks like? please anyone

Please update your profile to include your cell carrier. I know it isn't "Blackberry Bold 9700". That info helps when you have problems.

Check the yellow sticky at the top of the 9700 section for the latest OS for your device.

Cannot comment on the keypad issue as I do not have a 9700, but I would assume that they are all made the same. RIM has pretty good quality control.

This is bull!!! Blackberry Messenger didnt properly work when I first opened it, so I downloaded the newer version on the website and app world reseted the phone and now I can't even access it it says "app error 523 reset "....???
