Bold vs Curve
 

Can someone tell me the real difference between the two? The only difference I can see is one has a 2.0 camera and the other is 3.2

Considering the Curve is half the price, I don't see a reason to buy a Bold.

Which model number curve and bold?

The Curve 3G and whatever the latest Bold is.

You would be better off using model numbers.

Curve 3G has an awful trackpad co$pared to the Bold 9700 as it is a littlr bit curved rather than being flat, this causes a lot of jerkiness in the movement compared to the smooth operation of the 9700 trackpad which is very precise and smooth.

On the curve, the camea is a basic 2 MP camera with no auto focus and no flash, so pics are no where as sharp as the 9700's amazing camera, and u can forget about taking photos at night with the Curve.

The screen is much crisper looking on the Bold, the Curve 3G screen is even worse than the older Curve 8900 :rolleyes:

To sum it up, the 9300 Curve 3G is a major failure and the 9700 Bold beats it in every way

Well for myself the Curve 3g aint that bad as I dont really use the camera that often. Plus, screen quality sucks when you compare it side by side with some better phones, but I doubt if it'll make a difference on the "usefulness" of your berry..so it all boils down to your usage and budget I suppose.
