Device calendar doesn't synch with outlook calendar on wired connection
Hi,
I never had problem with calendar synchronization until I got another device to synch with desktop outlook. Specs: - Desktop: Outlook 2007, Desktop Manager 5.0.0.11 - Device: Curve 8300, OS v4.5.0.174 Setting at desktop manager: - synch both ways - wired synch Again, I never encountered this problem and only calendar fails to synch. Address book, notes & tasks synch perfectly Please, can anybody shed a light on this Many thanks |

Additional info: when my other device (Bold 9000, OS 4.6.0.266) is synched with the same outlook as described in my first post - it has no problem. However, the setting is for one way outlook calendar to device calendar.

unactivate the wireless synching with gmail contacts and calendar. It worked for me. Doesn't matter that you have made wireless inactive you must go to your contacts and calendar and change it there

Re: Device calendar doesn't synch with outlook calendar on wired connection
woohoo, open options > advanced options > default services. Make sure the default CICAL and default CMIME are (a) set to email addresses, (b) set to the same email address, and (c) set to the same address set as the default in Outlook. Then try another sync.
I'm not sure step (c) really matters. For me it didn't matter until I switched to new BlackBerry with OS 5 and also simultaneously upgraded Desktop Manager and Outlook. If your default Outlook email account is also configured in BIS on your handset, go ahead and do step (c) just to play it safe. Posted via BlackBerryForums.com Mobile |
