I paid $15 usd to unlock my blackberry pearl, after 2 days the person e-mailed me back telling me that my phone is not in the DATA BASE and can not be unlock.

CAN SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!!

eh, AT&T can be iffy about unlocking devices. sometimes they do, sometimes they dont, ive not seen any reason either way

I have an ATT BB Pearl, and ATT gave me the unlock code over the phone. I've been with ATT for several years so I have some history with them. I called customer service and told the gal that I was going to go to Europe for a couple weeks and wanted to use european prepaid sims in the phone while I was there, but when I return to the USA I would put the ATT sim back in. That was good enough, she gave me the code.
