8120 w/ no MSN Messenger...

I have tried to find MSN messenger for my blackberry pearl 8120 but have had no luck.

Going to www.blackberry.com/livemessenger does not work... it just takes me to a page that says my browser does not use activeX and there is no way to download messenger.

I downloaded OZ... but it only worked for a week or two before giving me an error when trying to load. I deleted the program from the phone and will re-download it but just haven't had time.

Does anyone know how I can get MSN Messenger installed on my pearl?

Welcome to the BBF.

try mobile.blackberry.com, and navigate to the messenger download.

mobile.blackberry.com

The mobile.blackberry.com site does not load on my phone. It just takes me to a page with a link for blackberry.com.

^^that was the general idea.

More specifically, ON your Blackberry
> Browser
> Menu
> Go To
> type in only "http://www.blackberry.com/instantmessaging" (without the quotation marks)
> Click on Download Windows Live Messenger

lol I just tried that and got told that I had to download it via IE, my browser was incorrect because ofc.. Active X only works using IE. So I changed the browser emulation mode to IE thinking I was being cunning but instead got told that 'downloads via USB are not enabled for this product'. At that point I realized how great BB messenger was anyway :D
