looks good... i think i am gonna order this case

More people should! i have never heard of someone with this one lately..only that hybrid rubber backed one but it covers up a lot. This one also is not too slippery so that isn't really a concern enough to have to get the hybrid one. Keep in mind, even though the different carriers' Curves have, I believe, the same dimensions, there are different versions of this case on that Seidio store website for the different Curves.

Nice. I want to get the blue one. But, I dont want to spend the $30 + bucks.
|
Blue one? never seen one..where's that at?
EDIT: oh you must mean the rubberized one, yeah looks good too |
Nice. As a side note, where did you score the blue precision theme? Or is it just a different wallpaper? In any case, I like and I want.

The case looks great! I have the black rubberized one from Seido. Does the center bar affect a little of your trackball scrolling? My rubberized one does but I learned to deal with it.

oldspice: you're welcome! credit goes to the creator (whoever that is...sry!)
tj13: It's not bad...if you grab at the openings on the left side for the headphone jack, usb jack, and button, you can get a good grip and carefully but forcefully pull it apart (I suggest you sit and have the phone on your lap so it's got a soft surface in case it goes anywhere). I did it twice right after putting the case on and both times it did not take much effort. Also, to reduce the amount of times needed to actually pull the battery, I would get that softreset app which supposedly does the same kind of reset. infernox: I'm glad you asked that. I actually like the center bar because it keeps my thumb (when using the trackball) from leaving smudges on the bottom part of the screen right above the ball, which it did all the time before I got this case (also I don't yet have the screen protector). Also, it does not affect my trackball use at all (honestly). The same goes for the buttons on the far left and right of the keyboard next to the case, the buttons on the sides of the phone, and the standby button on top..all are still easy to push. |
BTW update: I got the Screenguardz screen protectors and tried one out...not good! Do not get these..the bubbles it leaves are horrendous as well as the overall look of it over the screen. Looks just like way too shiny and shitty plastic and just makes it look terrible. Nothing like the one I have for my iPod Touch.
Does anyone know where I can get one for the 8330 that compares to this iPod Touch one??: Apple Store (U.S.) - Power Support Anti-Glare Film Set for iPhone? It is static-cling as well but it's harder and not flimsy and weak like the Screenguardz. Or even like this similar one from the official Apple Store: Apple Store (U.S.) - Power Support Crystal Film - iPhone I have the anti-glare one (first link) and although it dims the screen a little, it is a very high quality screen protector that I wish I had for this phone! Any one know where to get a similar one for the Curve?? |
Wirelessly posted
Try Best Skins Ever. Google it. I have used them on three of my previous Blackberries and my iPod. Can't even tell there are on there. I have it on my Curve now. People could not believe until they really looked hard. |
I'm familiar with them but haven't decided on any yet. Can I see some good pictures of it on your Curve please?? That would really help with my decision!

I agree - www.bestskinsever.com. They just made the skin available for the 8330 last Fri. Not sure if they say this on their site but even though I installed mine exactly like they said, I got a couple small air pockets under my skin. They slowly went away over the course of a few days - one took almost a week but now it looks great. The only reason I say this is because I thought I did something wrong when I installed one on my ipod and got my money back. I left it on the back though and saw the bubbles slowly disappear. Maybe I made it too wet and it took longer to dry? Not sure. Anyway, I love it.

For anyone who knows though...is the same material/feel/look as the Screenguardz one? Because like I said, the Screenguardz one is okay but not great, I wouldn't want another just like it.

Im diggin' that case. I can see it in my future.
