Verizon 8330 .... call waiting question

When someone else calls and I place the first person on hold and answer the new call both callers do not show up on the screen (although I can switch between the two). Is there a setting that I am missing?? An associate of mine who has the AT&T Curve has both numbers show on the screen while in call waiting mode.

Thanks in advance!

Wirelessly posted (VZW Curve 8330)

I'll bump this too because this would be somewhat nice.

Curve Call waiting bug

This feature is not working properly on the new devices os. There should be a choice to swap and the display should show you who you are speaking to and who is on hold. This works with my wife's att curve and my friend's t-mobile curve. There is no reason it shouldn't work with cdma.

it doesn't work sadly.... and it is annoying.

Ive had several BBs and I have never seen it work like that.

It is a CDMA issue. I used to be on ATT/Cingular, it worked great. Even showed who was on hold and who you were talking to. You could then pull up menu and combine the calls. When I switched to Verizon on the 7130, it did not do this. I also have used the 8703 and now the 8330 and they are all the same. Call handling is just cleaner on GSM. But I love my call quality on the Big V!

ive used nextel and they dont do it either

I am unfamiliar with Nextel. I do know Sprint works like VZW.
