Nothing happens when I plug in my BlackBerry.
Hi,
I've tried a few times now after meddling with the Media Card settings, but this problem still exists: Nothing happens when I plug in my BlackBerry via USB. Usually when I plug in a hard disk/phone/data card to my computer, my file browser opens a new window and displays its contents. But when I plug in my BlackBerry, nothing happens. Here are some related specs: BlackBerry: 8100 Pearl OS: Ubuntu 8.04 No MiniSD card in the BB - my holder for the card is broken, so I use the phone memory Hopefully this can be sorted out quickly! Thanks, Hans Engel |
You cannot access your BlackBerry device memory from a PC... only a media card.

Like stated above you will only get that when a media card is in your device. You need to use Desktop Manager to access device memory. |

you can actually access the device memory using the barry tools, but there are no actual tools available for browsing it.
