red LED freezes after checking messages

I installed the latest 4.5 beta on a Pearl and after checking my emails, sms messages or missed calls the light stays on and I have to restart the phone. I uninstalled the beta, downgraded back to 4.2 with a clean install and then reinstalled 4.5 (.37).

When I initially installed .37 I had the same problem. I did a clean install and it was fixed so I don't know what's going on. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Before it's suggested, I keep my phone on vibrate so leaving the LED is helpful.

The 4.5 I'm using is the Vodafone version. Is that still considered beta?

that will be fixed by erasing color pearl

I tried to figure out how to keep both color pearl and normal led

but couldn find a way...
if you delete the color pearl application,
it will work fine.

Thanks. I'll give that a whirl.
