Options > Advanced > GPS > Menu > Refresh.

"Be outisde in a clear view of the sky, wait up to 10 minutes for the refresh to occur and if not, try it again."

If you have a Pearl 8100, you don't have GPS built-in.

Instructions are going to depend on the GPS app you're using.

Again, the BB doesn't have a built-in GPS "function". You need to choose and download/install a GPS app. Some carriers do include BB Maps which is a crude app but I recommend checking the stickied list of GPS apps in this forum.

Now I understand that the 8100 does not have a built in GPS, but, when i looked in options>advance options>GPS>GPS Data Service i have the option to select "BlackBerry 8100". What is that? I am running OS 4.5.0.93 and I was wondering if this was a bug or glitch.
