bgr confirms tmo projected date

Well the ppl over at the boy genius report posted an article today confirming tmobile USA is still planning on a black Friday release of the 8900. I am on my iPod so I can't copy and paste the link, but it's on the main page down some. Boy Genius Report

I know, you told me to keep it quiet though.

TroyDBrown 11-05-2008 06:17 PM

I posted it in a few places :)

Of course they are, 3 days after I decided to buy a Bold since it would be January before the 8900 was released! :)

Oh well, if that is what it takes to get the Javelin sooner I can deal with it!

I don't know if I am too tired to see this on the website or what, but I can't find it -- what is the date for Tmobile? :-(

BlackBerry 8900 Curve crops up on in corner of Rogers website : Boy Genius Report

Black Friday, day after thanksgiving.

NJBlackBerry 11-05-2008 10:40 PM

Personally I will NOT be getting up early that morning.
Just my .02

ChumsGum 11-06-2008 12:03 AM

i work that day but there's a store next door my office.

hey maybe tmo will sell the javelin at a black friday price? say um, $99 with a 2 yr contract?

Wow! It looks like November is going to be a banner month for RIM! First, the Bold was finally released on AT&T. I might have upgraded to the Bold if it had been released in July, but now it looks like I have better options. The first one being the Blackberry Storm from Verizon, the first touch phone from RIM. There's rumors it could get released mid-November. And the second of course, being the Javelin. I am leaning right now towards the Storm, but if it is priced too high and the cost of voice and data plans with Verizon are more than what I pay with my current Curve on AT&T, I may just wait for the Javelin and get it instead. The Blackberry data plan with T-mo is less than AT&T and Verizon, so to save some $$ I might switch to T-mo.

I will be the first in line to get a Javelin/8900 Curve.

TMOBLK23 11-06-2008 01:09 PM

I hope this bad boy comes out black friday for TMO because I would definitely get it.

NJBlackBerry 11-06-2008 01:22 PM

Please remember - please - that these are all rumors and nothing is confirmed.

lambdacoreaz 11-06-2008 01:35 PM

although it is very exciting...i'll probably be waiting in line that morning tryin to make money by selling coupons, perfect timing to buy an 8900! haha

Still mentions tmobile as they are scheduled to get it first.

im debating on this for my girl or a t919 which will be released on monday with tmobile. she needs a phone soon. her razor is missing half the numbers pad

proussak 11-06-2008 07:45 PM

But see this link to TMO's announcement of its holiday line-up: T-Mobile Announces Holiday Line-Up (Phone Scoop). I really want to believe there'll be a Jav this year but TMO isn't cooperating.
