Can you select multiple emails and delete them at the same time?

I've been using a Blackberry 8330 for a few months now and so far, I love it. One of the things I don't like is that I can't (or don't know how to) select multiple emails and texts that I have read (or sent) and delete them. I have to delete each email one at a time. Is there a way to scroll down and select the emails you want to delete and then delete all of the selected emails at one time?

Thanks in advance to all who answer.

Mark

Wirelessly posted

Click the first email then hold down the shift button and scroll down with the trackball

That's exactly what I was looking for.
Thanks!

Thanks for this. It's another way to delete messages and I will also use this method along with the other method.

You can also simply read the next unread message by pressing the "N" key and your next unread message will populate your screen.

I was hoping there was a way to selectively select multiple e-mails. That is, select one e-mail, skip the next few, select the next one. Then delete the selected ones.

Is there a way to do this?

Nope -- not if they're not listed adjacent to each other.

If there's something else in common to all the messages you want to delete (e.g. sender, recipient, email account received on, etc) you can perform a search in Messages and then use shift-select to delete them.
