Dumped my Tour and reverted back to Curve

I bought it last week and have had numerous issues with the unit hanging on deleting messages and poor bluetooth quality/disconnects etc...so back it went and I re-activated my Curve...will wait it out till the next gen of CDMA BB's.

Sorry to hear it. I just got my Tour that replaced my Curve. Very happy with it - no trackball, voice or bluetooth problems.

Sorry to hear it as well. The latest OS seemed to improve your issues to some extent

Thank you, zerog46, but what is OS 5.0? I didn't know that was out. Is it posted here on BB Forums and I'm just missing it?

I was sooooo close to dumping the Tour and going back to my ultra-reliable Curve 8330 as well. But I replaced it with a newer working-trackball Tour and I am once again in Tour Bliss!

No OS 5.0 yet for Sprint users (?) - but I am looking forward to that one as well!!

You don't need any certain carrier to run the 5.0 update.

No OS 5 OFFICIALLY yet

I tried the 5.0 OS and it just wasn't stable enough for me... crashing sometimes when i hang up the phone, or when i provision the network. The newest 5.0 does work with Facebook and Google talk though!

kurichan 09-28-2009 09:42 PM

5.0 has never, ever crashed on me. Are you using 230?

mslolliepop 09-28-2009 11:12 PM

Just got mine yesterday and no problem. . . Hope it stays that way!!! Btw looking for PIN friends!!!

Wirelessly posted (Lets Go Canes!)

With 8330 having a 5.0 OS Beta, I wonder how that affects the conversation.
