Need help getting internet without data plan
 

My dad has a curve with no data plan and I really just want to be able to reverse tether using a pc to blackberry to make it go online. Just so I can install app's easier on the phone.

If anyone could help that would really be great. Also this is with sprint.

There is no way to access data on the blackberry via internet service through a computer, at least so far as I know.

Not only is there no "reverse tether" possible, but Sprint requires a data plan for all BlackBerry devices activated on their network.

I'm on wap so I can't see what model you're using but I assume since its Sprint you have the 8350i. Doesn't that have wifi? You can usually use that to download and install apps even when you don't have a data plan.

Even with WiFi, you need the BB data plan to access App World.

Can you install the apps you want using Desktop Manager?
