Push BlackBerry Messender upgrade
 

I recently noticed that RIM released a new version of BlackBerry Messenger. One of our phones was showing/hiding automatically an icon for the update to Messenger which was making the phone slow. Our current IT policy does not allow third party applications from being installed by the end user. I have seen this post (another BlackBerryForums thread) relating to installing apps OTA.

My question is that I am not sure where to download the Messenger files to zip up to push out via BES. On a few of these devices I have connected to my desktop machine via USB to upgrade the software.

You have to get the files from an updated device and add them to BES with a package.

It is knot a simple task.
