Content Protection is Enabled?

This comes up for some of my contact's email addresses.
Instead of [email address] ... I see <Content Protection is Enabled>.
No, I didn't alter any of my settings.
Why is this?
This is my 2nd Blackberry and this problem has suddenly chosen to resurface and I have no idea why.
Please let me know what I can do to fix it.

Also. ... my speaker phone gives a LOUD squeaking sound :? ... any idea why, guys? Last but not least, I have a memory card (4 GB) and my BB both deletes facebook messages and emails automatically, at times. Is there any reason why this is so? Thanks a mil, I appreciate it.

so content protection:
To disable content protection, go to Options --> Security and set Content Protection = disabled, maybe password will be required.

speaker problem: try to set in profiles : Main Screen -- profiles or sounds and there you can change a volume for each action - phone call, sms, email...

deleting messages: look in messages - options - General options - Days to keep messages and set forever. this will keep you email forever and if you are reinstalling, never forget to back it up. Facebook messages will be kept forever, until your next reinstall of OS.

Does it help?

Thanks for the response.
I re-loaded the OS last night, so to date I haven't had any more issues.
I did disable the content protection on my phone, so that's fine.
I suspect there is a larger issue at play with the speaker because it is still squeaking, but doesn't when I have headphones in... WEIRD.
As for the email, I set them to forever, so let us see what happens.
Thanks a million!

Any other opinions?

Do a search on these forums. There are multiple threads that talk about this speaker issue with solutions.

Okay, duly noted.
I did a search but didn't see anything that specifically addresses my issue.

the other thing is memory cleaning. One of the OS versions causes the device to not realize that it has been unlocked. So you can try to lock it again and see if that helps. Keep in mind it is a known issue. I dont know if it has been resolved but I saw it on the 9630's. Once an account has a problem, it stays with that user. Not the device.

Oh.
This phone came unlocked.
That's interesting man.
Let me check it out.
