Please Help! Cannot Add New Contacts \New Contacts does not work!

I have BB9700 Bold and all is well, except that from day number 1 I could not add new contact at all! Nor can I save received phone number on Contacts. When I open Add New Contact, or simply Contacts, it freezes and does nothing! :x

I tried every thing without success. I tried to un-install the software and re-install it anew; but the problem persists Has anybody experienced this problem? Or is there anybody who can help to solve this problem? Thanks in advance.

Please do not double post. Your thread int he General section deleted.

How are you trying to add contacts and phone numbers?

What exactly have you tried? Was a battery pull among them?

Sorry for, apparanty, doubling post; did not know, first, that there was a specific section for 9700Bold.

I tried in the normal way: opening the address section\contact secttion, then go to New Contact; but when pressed nothing happens! !

Another way is when I receive a call; afterwards I try to save the number by going to the list of things you can do with such telephone number, one of which is Add to New Contact; but when I press it: Nothing happens. Just get stucked.

All the times, the Battery is fully charged.

Please, help!

DId you try a battery pull? With the device on, pull the battery out for 30 to 60 seconds. Replace and let the device reboot.
