please, i need help uploading the lastest os 4my 9520 storm2
 

hi all.
i have tried a few things like the stealth loading and command line way but my usb always knows my pin even when the batt is out...

the os i got is a link through this site called 9520M_PBr5.0.0_rel1611_PL4.2.0.423_A5.0.0.973

my current os is v5.0.0.713 which is giving me some issues with lag and sometimes having to restart it when it gets bad.

i installed the handheld software and deskto software, plus deleted that vendor.alx or something file from the apploader...

please can some1 help and is this the lastest best version?

still here hoping some1 can help me install the latest os for my uk 9520. which is on pay&go o2 with bb bolt on...

currently running a t-mobile branded unlocked- v5.0.0.713
think latest for me is Package Version: 5.0.0.1729 but as it says argentina in the file name, i truly dont know if this is correct?

would love my storm unbranded and running as best as it can... ideally anyway but as long as its the latest greatest, im happy


any help out there?

You can load any carrier OS, by following the instructions in the stickied thread at the top of this forum "latest OS".

And you can't change the start up screen ("branding") in any event.

thank you very much... it worked.

i did try that before with an earlier version, but i couldnt get the loader to go to "unknown" as of previous instructions...
but it worked... great thank you very much...

--one other question i posted in the bold 9000 section which im still waiting for a reply to... the phone is not using the device memory to save, but the application memory, which stuff like pics etc get wipped on restart when batt dies. any ideas? full details are posted on bold 9000 section--
