Data Only Plans on US carriers

Do any of the US carriers off a data only plan whether it's pay-go or a plan? Specifically, I want BBM only...I have no need for phone, BES, SMS, MMS....just BBM.

Thanks,

Not true. Sprint offers one through sprintrelay.com ($40/mo for unlimited data and phone as modem). No voice minutes included.

Still for that price, I suspect a BB 9330 on Virgin Mobile for $25/mo is a better option. Unlimited text and data and no contract. It comes with 300 minutes per month, but you can just keep your number to yourself and then no one will call you. :)

Yes.
Sprint has a plan called "Custom UNL BB Stand Alone" for $41.99. I can see this plan listed for individual accounts and business/corporate accounts.
If you are on a corporate acounts, there are some other stand alone plans that range between $24.99 - $39.99 depending on your discount classification.

There is no such thing as a BBM-only plan.
The Sprint plans will provide BIS... which allows Email, Web browsing and other data services.

The way I read the OP's post... they are specifically looking for BBM only.

That's fine if I get the other things...I just don't need them.
I like the virgin mobile option. I'll look into that.
Thanks!

Looks like this is actually $35 a month. $25 is the Beyond Talk plan, but to then hook that into Blackberry is an additional $10...At least that's how I read the website.

You have a new phone. You may want to use the other features
