I cant download and install applications to my blackberry storm 9530,,,pls help out!

What is the file type? Is it a .cod, .alx, .jad?

Difficult to help with such little information.

The general way to install a BlackBerry application from the desktop is to install the application package (which will consist of one or more ALX files, and one or more COD files) into a directory on the PC. The Desktop Manager Add/Remove programs option should allow you to browse to the directory where the application package is installed and select the application for installation.
