Facebook/ instant messaging

is there any way i can use facebook and instant messaging on my bb curve 9300 without a data plan with like wifi or something cause i hate using ebuddy ? and one more then when i post on facebook or something it dosent say "Via blackberry" for mine ? :( someone please help me :(
