Playbook "screen swipe" to power on - can this be deactivated?
Hi,
I'd like to carry my Playbook around with me without using a case or a sleeve, but I can't because as soon as something touches the screen it switches itself on. Is there a way of deactivating this function so that the screen only comes on if I press the power button on top of the device? I've searched all the options and setting but can't find anything that helps. Thanks! AB |

no way to disable it from what i have seen
you can put a password on it so nothing will activate though there are some cases with flip covers you can get that are light and will prevent this. |

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. I was hoping to avoid having to buy a case, but it looks like there's no alternative.
Thanks KR! |
