Stolen BB - new user is abusing my account

Hi all,

I am in need for some suggestions to fix the following problem. I lost the blackberry of my girlfriend more than a year ago in a taxi in Holland. Someone found it and got in touch with me though BB messenger. The guy wanted a ridiculous amount of money for it, so I didnt get it back. I totally forgot about this until now. As it turns out this person is now chatting with other people as well from my girlfriends messenger list, and he is sending around naked pictures of my girlfriend, that were apparently still on the phones memory.

I tried to contact BB customer service, they couldnt do nothing. I contacted the service provider that sold me the phone when I got it (T-Mobile Netherlands), they also couldnt do nothing.

I want to somehow delete or block my girlfriends BB PIN, so he cannot talk with anyone of friends...

Any suggestions? He already sent pictures to her grandmother so it is getting pretty bad...

Thanks!!

You are unfortunately out of luck. There is nothing you can do.

Your girlfriend should tell all her BBM contacts to delete her old PIN from their BBM contact list.

Imagine how much drama could have been avoided by using a device password!

And if it is harassing type messages, report it to the authorities to see what they can do. Also see if your carrier can do something.

How do you "totally forget" about a stranger looking at pictures of your naked girlfriend? How do you "totally forget" to call your carrier or the authorities?

Naked photos? Amazing.
Wonder what the "ridiculous amount of money was" IF the OP had offered to give the money he would at least had the persons info.

Whatever the amount, his girlfriend apparently wasn't worth it.
