Yahoo Go! 2.0 Beta launched

Loaded on my 8700 and works great. Look here for info.

Yahoo! Go. The Internet to go.

Go to: get.go.yahoo.com from your BB to load.

Link to BBhub article about it: Yahoo! Go for Mobile now available for BlackBerry - BBHub

Interesting. I go check it out. I wonder if this will work on the 8100?

kasperapd 01-08-2007 12:27 PM

Supposed to work on 7130 series, 8100 series, and 8700 series.

scottru 01-08-2007 12:29 PM

well, I tried to load it on my BlackBerry Pearl (need to use the BlackBerry browser, not Opera Mini, to get it), and I got the beta is full message. Lame to put out PR and close the beta, and bummer because it looks really nice. Any reviews?

The BB Browser link is: get.go.yahoo.com

mebiuspower 01-08-2007 12:58 PM

Tried to go to the link but it says that my 7130g is not supported.

lfanb 01-08-2007 01:08 PM

For VZW customers -

note that when you follow the link it says "Get it Now." I thought - oh, great, VZW is charging for this, but it's just a conincidence that the yahoo site says get it now rather than download. Works fine on Verizon, no charge.

Error 503 - overloading of server?? Hehe!

But worked if I went to the Yahoo site, and had had them send me an SMS

Odd. I checked the website again and clicked on Rogers and it said the 7130g was supported.

Go: Phone Selection

Did anyone download the PC installer before the beta closed?

The beta is closed... I'm hoping someone downloaded the installer to their PC and can host it for us... anyone? Bueller?

From blackberry, Cingular 7130c, the web site says there are no plans to support my PDA.

What gives?

krad 01-08-2007 02:02 PM

i think it is by area... not by total...

8-)

Could mine not work because of some browser setting? :?

secrecyguy 01-08-2007 02:24 PM

I just logged in at Yahoo mobile page with my 8700. At bottom was icon with title for Yahoo Go. So, just downloaded. No problems.

KeithJ 01-08-2007 02:39 PM

I can't get it either, it's saying the beta is closed.

abbydog3 01-08-2007 02:42 PM

Weird, I get a screen that says it is available for my device and says I can download it.

When I use the link to actually perform the download, it returns "There are no plans to support Yahoo! Go 2.0 for your PDA." But on the screen prior, it lists Cingular, Blackberry 7130c as valid.

FLIPP_96 01-08-2007 02:42 PM

I downloaded it without a problem.

Using your BB or ie goto: Y! Go
