BB Alerts

Every since i downloaded BB Alerts, my missed icon will not go less than
1. Any ideas how to fix?

Likely, it has nothing to do with BBAlerts.

Look at your message folder > view folder > missed calls and see if they are cleared or need deleting.

I had the same issue when I installed it. I had 2 missed calls showing although I had none at all. I had to do a hard reset to clear it.(y)

Thanks Smooth. Hard reset = Battery Pull while powered and reboot.

actually go to options security options then general settings then click menu to wipe handheld..........to a back up first it will wipe EVERYTHING off to factory default.

All calls are gone (deleted) from missed calls. Wonder if there is anything other than a reinstall of the OS?

Pauly, doing a "wipe" will remove ALL personal data from the BB, including email, call logs, contacts, etc. That is not a hard reset, that is a wipe. A hard reset is simply pulling the battery to reboot the device.

Pauly, have you tried calling your BB, missing the call and then clearing the missed call?

careful, I did that and then had 2.. .then 3 missed calls. My 8830 is not letting go of missed calls once in a while now.
