Yes.

The thing asking you for your password subsiquent times is *not* the loader.exe.

That's a component of desktop manager that's connecting to the device.

You can do un-attended upgrades....

I cut a small hole in it so i could fit in my USB power cord. You might be SOL with an actual charge dock...

Yep. A mostly stock OS install of the newest version (tiwan mobile - 6.0.0.546 (2475)) works. My PlayBook asks me for my BB pasword when the phone is locked.

Yeah, that only gives data usage, voice usage, and IIRC it will tell you if there is an ITpolicy in effect on the phone.

Also, a FULL device wipe can / will erase those counters.
