I saw that post and connected to my offices wifi and instantly i got all my BBM's and emails!

A good fix as long as i am able to use wifi.
I wonder whats causing the problems..

Definitely report it stolen. They may be able to deactivate the phone and use the GPS themselves to recover the phone. I say its definitely worth a try.
