treid another carrier sim and so far no fall out. the strange thing is that my normal carrier is actually using the other carriers network for blackberry (e.g. I'm always roaming)

Unfortunately we do not have a BES solution but a DME server that does not syncronise with Blackberry phones. Normally outlook can syncronise with ex HTC.
