I have the same problem and have found a work around.

First I think it's bad switching on t-mobiles side but I'm no tech and that's just what I have figured from trial and error.

at this point you should see a list of songs, if not go in to a folder.

That is a good point & might be why the new desktop manager has roxio. It looks like you can drop in and it will convert for you. Now I'm not a big fan of roxio but many here have said it works well....
