Picked up my Bold last night and I've been paying close attention to my 3G signal here in Chicago. Bottom line, my phone is spending a lot of time holding a 3G signal, then going to Edge, then back...

Funny you say that, my coworker just came into my office showing a decent sized gap between the back cover and the phone; his back cover comes right off, but I don't have this issue with mine.
