I do the same. I have it on vibrate and it's a pretty good alarm. I have it on the night stand and it vibrates several times from overnight emails.

My profile probably shows that I have a BB 8330. Actually, I was going to buy/extend my agreement today but now the Storm is only 8 days away. What to do?! I'm kinda getting the Storm bug....
