Since you have already checked all your folders, simply reboot by removing the battery for 30 sec and reinstall. When your BB boots up the message icon should be gone.

It sounds like your running low on device memory. Do a hard reset and that will gain you some space back. Also, delete any unused apps that you don't need. You should reboot your device at least once...
