We have 6 8310 here with no problems at all I would take it back and have them review the setting on your account and make shure they have the right sim card associated to your account it happend...

I have used plastic X it's for cars you can get it at autoparts type place and it did realy grate jobs for me on some older 7100 and 8700 and 8100 :) just use cloth material to work the screen.

I don't know if it can be the same as my bes I am on GW and if I shift delete e-mail from GW they don't get deleted on the BB. And if I drag and drop to delete or use the delete button it's fine.

I am experiancing message reconciliation prob on the BB side thow both on the 7100 and the 7780 we have....

I have instaled the sp2 hot fix.

I will test to see if it fixes anything it did not mention any of this prob in the fix pdf file on the rim website.
