i have exactly the same problem, after changing...

i have exactly the same problem, after changing back to 8700 from pearl.

have you worked it out yet?

also very odd menus in email, such as return to phone, activate handset etc.

even after a "hard reset" and "wipe" all installed programs are still installed there... is there a way to a factory restore, so it retuns to the default as it was delivered?

Just got mine... nice BB but the intended purpose of email sync does not seem to happen... does anyone know of a way around this please?
